S.R.K. Higher Secondary School, Karikkalampakkam, Puducherry, successfully organized a Special Orientation and Guidance Programme for Parents, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of parents.

The programme began with a special address by the Correspondent, Dr. T. Mahendran, who emphasized the vital role of parents in shaping the academic and personal growth of students. The Principal and Headmistress provided comprehensive guidance to both parents and students regarding the school's academic system, teaching methodology, discipline, and the educational plans for the upcoming academic year. The entire presentation was delivered through an informative PowerPoint presentation, making it easy for parents to understand every aspect of the school's vision and academic practices.

During the programme, the Correspondent also introduced the Parents–Students Mobile App, explaining its features and demonstrating how it can be effectively used for communication, attendance, academic updates, homework, examination details, and other important school information.

The event concluded on a joyful note with a variety of fun-filled games organized exclusively for parents and their families. The parents actively participated in the games along with their children, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere. Refreshing fruit juice was served to all the participants on behalf of the school, adding warmth and hospitality to the successful event.
